That thing in the sky!

 Me and the boy went for a little jaunt on Saturday evening.It was so blooming hot all afternoon.We left it until about 7pm before venturing out.Still very warm though.

From Radstock we hooked up to the Colliers Way Cyclepath.This path takes you from Radstock to Great Elm.The track still isn't finished (boo!) It's intended to go all the way to Frome and beyond.
It's a delight! The track is traffic free and very pretty along its route. We didn't go all the way to the end.We came off at Mells and made a loop back to Radstock.17 miles done.

Today is Monday

School run is done.Its 9.15.Ive got 5 hours to get Monday  by the scruff.Cooker,pans,lighter,water and loose change packed.No map no idea just ride.I remembered poppies from last week.Lush! A field full of red!

Amazing Red Sea!

My ride for now is a Brother Kepler.A bike to go near or far! Steel with space for surly knard 41c tyres.

I had decided to head for a hill that we had walked a few weeks ago but alas my direction was askew.I always like to see water on a nice day so re routed to Avoncliff canal.

Gorgeous.The teatime stop got abandoned after spotting a canal barge selling homemade ice cream.1.50 bought me tongue heaven!
